The Zell Miller Center for Georgia Music Studies (ZMCGMS)
serves as the library and archives of the Georgia Music Hall of
Fame.
The ZMCGMS was created to collect, preserve, exhibit, and make
available for research materials related to Georgia's musical
history. Information and artifacts relating to Georgia's musical
artists and genres range from pre-Colonial times to the present. The
collections include materials such as: instruments, photos, lyrics,
sound recordings, costumes, books, sheet music, and other
memorabilia of Georgia musicians.

North Carolina
The Women Veterans Historical Project was established in
1998 at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Housed in the University Archives in Jackson Library, the project is
documenting the female experience in the armed forces through
letters, papers, photographs, published materials, uniforms and
medals, and oral histories.
The materials collected by the project will form a research
collection for scholars in the fields of military history as well as
women's studies. In addition, the project sponsors an annual
"gathering" of veterans on the UNCG campus each November and will
sponsor educational opportunities and exhibits throughout the state.
The project seeks to recognize the women who served their country
and to educate the country on the contributions of these women.
