Shifting Landscapes, Shared Stewardship: Piecing the Commonwealth Together

The Kentucky Council on Archives invites you to submit a proposal for Shifting Landscapes, Shared Stewardship: Piecing the Commonwealth Together. Our spring meeting will be held on May 29 at the Marion County Public Library in Lebanon, KY. Our theme encourages submissions that speak to how archival work is changing and how collaboration helps preserve and share historical records. We welcome proposals that explore a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Adapting to Changing Technologies and Archival Standards
  • Community Archiving and Collaborative Stewardship
  • Creative Outreach and Engagement in archives and records management
  • Exploring and Preserving Kentucky History
  • Improving and Updating Legacy Archival Description
  • Professional Growth and Well-Being for archivists and records professionals
  • Navigating change at any level
  • Space planning, off-site storage issues, or designing a new archives space
  • Working with Limited Resources (such as budget constraints, staffing shortages, or infrastructure challenges)
